Synthetic turf eliminates the high costs and hassles of maintaining natural grass, especially high traffic areas like driving ranges, putting greens and residential properties. We have a number of different products that cater for golf and residential lawn.
SYNSPORT DRIVING RANGE MAT
Due to the nature of the game, hitting pieces can get damaged. Driving range facilities require a system where only the damaged hitting mat is replaced. Our Driving Range System consists of a 1.1m x 1.1m standing mat and a 1.1m x 0.4m hitting mat. Both mats are housed in a fibre glass tray. We use fibre glass for its light weight and strength. This system allows the owner to replace only the damaged hitting surface. The standing mat consists of our Terrazzo Chipping Grass bonded to a 20mm shock pad. This piece is not used for hitting and should not need to be replaced. The hitting mat consists of the same shock pad and grass as the standing piece. We highly recommend this product for a hassle free solution for driving and chipping.
SYNSPORT STANDARD DRIVING MAT
Our Standard Driving Mats are perfect for personal use or smaller golfing facilities like Pro Shops and home studios. The mat is 1m x 1.5m and offers more than enough space for both iron shots and driving. The mat consists of our Terrazzo Chipping Grass bonded to a 20mm shock pad. See the Terrazzo Chipping Grass link below for further information. We provide three tee holes with removable brush tees.
THE RUBBER INFILL SYSYTEM 60MM
This system offers the latest in artificial grass technology. At 55mm in pile height the carpet is filled with a rubber/sand mix. This fills the carpet with a natural shock pad and gives players a natural grass feel under foot and on club. At 40mm high, club shock is eliminated in the rubber/sand infill before is can reach the carpet baking. This is one characteristic that makes this system the leader in durability and lifespan. This carpet offers the most in realism, durability and player comfort. We supply a five-year guarantee on this system. This system provides golf facilities with a hitting surface that looks feels and plays like real grass, 365 days a year with very low maintenance. One will have to rake this grass as the Rubber/Sand Infill will spray slightly when you strike the ball.
CG CAMPO CHIPPING GRASS
This synthetic turf is a new type of artificial grass that consists of a 35mm semi-curled yarn as well as a 20mm curled yarn. The 20mm curled yarn ensures the longer fibres never flatten and gives the artificial grass a soft dense feel. The curled yarn also ensures the club does not slide straight through the turf, giving golfers a more realistic grass feel. The mixed yarn system also adds to the durability of the grass. The grass consist off high strength, UV resistant polyethylene fibres. This grass will simulate a longer fairway type grass.
TERRAZZO CHIPPING GRASS
At 20mm in pile height this grass simulates a short mowed fairway like no other product. Like the 35mm Campo Grass the Terrazzo also consists of two different fibre pile heights. The grass consists of a longer 20mm straight yarn and a 15mm curled yarn. The 15mm curled yarn ensures the longer fibres never flatten and gives the artificial grass a soft dense feel. The curled yarn also ensures the club does not slide straight through the turf, giving golfers a more realistic grass feel. The mixed yarn system also adds to the durability of the grass. The grass consist off high strength, UV resistant polyethylene fibres. We would recommend this grass for all fringe grass and chipping applications. We use this turf as a hitting surface for our Pro Driving Mats and portable mats.
ADVANCED PUTTING SURFACE
This synthetic turf offers golfers the most realistic putting surface to date, with consistent ball speeds and bounce comparable to PGA greens.
"APS" uses mono-filament fibres, which ensures the playing surface never speeds up through out its life span. These fibres are made of high quality Nylon yarn which has been proven to be more durable than both the polypropylene and polyethylene fibres. The Nylon fibres have been curled through a factory process to ensure they never lose memory and lie flat. The Advanced Putting Surface incorporates a unique cushioning and support system, which consists of tiny pieces of sponge that is stitched into artificial grass. The cushioning system supports the Nylon fibres, reduces ball bounce and provides golfers with a natural feel underfoot. At 10mm in pile height the fibres are densely stitched at a closer stitch rate than competitors providing a more yarn and therefore more durability. We strongly believe that the Advanced Putting Surface is the most durable and realistic putting surface to date. This artificial grass does not require any sand infill or maintenance. "APS" registers a 10 on the Stimp meter.
OVAL PUTTING SURFACE
This surface provides players with a realistic putting surface with a long life span. This carpet is used for professional hockey, nation wide and provides an ultra durable putting surface with an expected life span of well over 10 years. The product does require a light sand infill. We register a 9 on the Stimp meter with this product.
PORTABLE MAT
0.6m x 0.3m chipping mat with handle for easy carry. Complete with one removable plastic tees. 20mm artificial grass bonded to 5mm rubber shock pad with non slip backing.
